Holly

I was born in the Philippines (My dad was in the Air Force). We moved to Arizona when I was 4 years old, and I’ve been here ever since. When I’m not teaching, I love reading, learning Disney history and trivia, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. 

I’ve taught special education for 11 years including self-contained and resource classrooms in grades K-6. Before that I worked professionally as a Music Therapist, working with children ages 2-20 years.  I have worked with and loved a variety of students and their families over the years. My favorite part of the job has always been connecting with the families and working together to help their child achieve the success we both knew was possible. 

I’ve also taught private violin lessons for over 20 years now and recently taken on some beginning piano students in my home in East Mesa (by East mark). I hope to share my enthusiasm and love for the instruments with my students.
