Alexa’s newspaper editor/columnist father conditioned her to loathe wordiness and redundancy. Subsequently, she earned a B.A. in English (history minor) and an M.Ed from Arizona State University. During her studies, she interned for Arizona Highways Magazine and a successful, science fiction author. She has since taught English to high school students in Bulgaria and tutored college-level writing. Currently, she is homeschooling her two children and relishing the opportunity to diagram sentences, and dissect great works of literature, with them. She is eager to teach your budding bibliophiles and grammar nerds, as well.
